DUMMY

Jake Joseph I am an electronic musician from Scranton Pennsylvania releasing music for multiple years and is independently releasing his next project DUMMY on May 29th.
DUMMY is a hyper aggressive mix of electronics, hip hop, harsh noise, and industrial dance music with some more heavy and emotional ballads worked into the tracklist. DUMMY was to create music that your body needed to have a reaction to, whether that be dancing, moshing, crying or maybe all three at once.
The album is entirely self produced, self mixed, and self released. As his own creative director, he takes inspiration from the over saturated and abstract visuals created by thermal imaging cameras, which is represented in the album cover, single artwork, and music videos. The visuals are so bright, saturated, and visceral you couldn’t help but have your attention grabbed.

A fascination for music production and visual story telling manifested into the musical project Jake Joseph. Taking inspiration from loud, abrasive, but accessible sounds and transforming them into a unique mix of all three while still being able to stand out. Jake's sound can be described as electronic music with hip hop inspiration and a splash of harsh distortion from eclectic sample choices and production.
